Since first starting his musical career at the age of 16 as a singer and bass player, Hagen Grohe has climbed to the top of the local music scene in the south German region of Palatinate. Graduating in 2006 as an Audio Engineer from the SAE Institute in Frankfurt as one of the top students in his class, Hagen now runs a home studio in addition to working as a musician.

Although he is predominately a rock singer, his dynamic vocal range and versatility lend well to powerful performances in nearly every style. His rising talent in recent years has made Hagen one of the best and most highly demanded rock vocalists, not only in Southwest Germany.

In early 2009, rock icon Joe Perry, lead guitarist and co-songwriter for the legendary American band AEROSMITH, reached out to Hagen after coming across a video online, and immediately hired him as lead singer for "Have Guitar Will Travel," the guitarist's solo album released in the US in October of that year. As a member of THE JOE PERRY PROJECT he has accompanied Perry and his band on several tours through the US, Canada and UK, performing with other rock giants such as Slash, Mötley Crüe and Bad Company.

In 2011 Hagen has also worked as the lead singer for KATMANDÜ, the swiss rock band around guitarist Mandy Meyer (Gotthard, Krokus, Asia, Cobra) and found himself amongst the top 30 (out of a supposed number of more than 300) candidates for the swiss hard rock act GOTTHARD, who were looking for a new lead singer after the tragical loss of their front man Steve Lee, probably one of the best rock voices in the last two decades.

In recent years Hagen Grohe also provided backup vocals for renowned artists such as Bobby Kimball (Toto), Jimi Jamison (Survivor) and Chris de Burgh, and has worked on several productions as a studio singer.

With his own band 21OCTAYNE he released two original albums: "Into The Open" (May 2014) and "2.0" (September 2015). Both albums were entirely recorded, produced, mixed and mastered bei Grohe and critically acclaimed worldwide. Until Grohe left the band in early 2016, 21OCTAYNE had been touring with bands like Uriah Heep, Voodoo Circle, FM, Pink Cream 69, Dan Reed Network, Pretty Maids, or German rockers Ohrenfeindt.

In 2018 he toured all over Germany with a production called Rock The Circus. The concept was created by english director and choreographer Stuart Glover and brings together circus arts and rock music in a breathtaking show. An international ensemble of renowned circus performers is accompanied by a six-piece rock band.

In 2019 he lend his voice to a song called "The Key". A song composed and produced by Tobias Schmitz as the theme song for a new german TV series called "Die Klempnerin".

From 2010 to 2019 Hagen Grohe was the lead singer for the german 70s/80s rock tribute band "RoxxBusters", which reformed in 2020 under the new name ROCK'S FINEST. The band consists of an outstanding group of professional musicians, who in the past, together as "RoxxBusters", have also been backing artists such as Chris Thompson (Ex-Manfred Mann's Earth Band), Michael Sadler (SAGA), Roman Lob (u.a. Bundesvision Songcontest 2012), Isaac Newton (u.a. The Voice of Germany), Nicolas Müller (Ex-Jupiter Jones), Harpo and Pussycat.

Right now the musicians are working on a new tribute show called THE STARS OF ROCK, which they plan taking on the road in 2021.
